Candidates Spar Over Press Conference Etiquette

County executive candidate Councilmember David L. Scull charges his Democratic rival Sidney Kramer with a bad precedent by holding a press conference not open to all reporters. Kramer says invitations were sent to the entire Montgomery County press corps and that McIntyre was asked to leave as he was not a member of the press. The dispute centers on access to media, with Kramer calling the event private and Scull’s aide labeling the move unfair. The story also notes a Red Cross Bloodmobile schedule across Carroll County in February with listed locations and times.
