A federal court hearing is set Thursday on Arthur Turco Jr.’s bail petition pending his murder plot trial. The 27 year old faces conspiracy and related charges in the torture and murder of Eugene Anderson, a 20 year old painter and Black Panther, whose bones were found in a city park in July 1969. Twelve people were charged last spring in the killing, police say stemming from suspicions Anderson was an informer.
