Slain woman trusted husband to help him recover
Marsha Brewer-Stewart lent her husband Gregory Stewart ten thousand dollars seven months before her death to aid his alcohol and mental health battle. Police say Gregory Stewart, 38, is charged with first degree murder after slashing his wife’s throat at their Naperville townhouse. The AT&T worker is in custody without bond as investigators probe the fatal attack following a late night call.
