Jury Disagrees In Elkton Church Trial

In Elkton the Circuit Court jury trying Clarence Frock for attempting a church robbery at Pleasant Hill last month failed to reach a verdict after nearly four hours. Judge Floyd J. Kintner declared a mistrial and planned another trial date. Defense witnesses placed Frock at a drive-in theater during the alleged incident. Earlier testimony from Rev. Paul Hilbert described a man in shiny blackface with a rifle at Holiness Christian Church, but he did not positively identify Frock.
