Georgetown appoints Arthur O Leary as new president
Very Rev. Arthur A. O Leary S J is named president of Georgetown University effective immediately succeeding 25 years of service at the Jesuit institution. The selection comes from Rev. Zachus J Manet II in New York, with O Leary to take parochial duties at St. Aloysius in Washington. He was born in Washington September 28, 1608 and is a Fordham and Boston College alumnus.
