Officials of Local Draft Board One announced Walter Guy Crowther Jr. of 312 West College Terrace has been accepted by the Army to attend Volunteer Officers' Training School and will depart for assignment in the near future. Crowther has served in the State Guard and the Minute Men and holds the rank of second lieutenant, unsigned, in the Guard.
