Montgomery Republicans endorse two for county posts
The Montgomery County Republican Central Committee on November 24 endorsed Robert E. Brennan for the Planning Board of the Maryland National Park and Planning Commission and Richard McKernon for the Merit System Protection Board. Brennan, a retired builder, former executive vice president of the Suburban Maryland Home Builders Association, and former commissioner of the park and planning commission 1969-72, brings long county service. McKernon, a member of the Maryland, Montgomery County, and District of Columbia bar associations, president of the Exchange Club of Bethesda-Chevy Chase, and former county attorney 1971-78, also has deep local involvement.
