Snowy roads delay schools across three Maryland counties
Freezing rain and icy streets slowed Monday night into Tuesday morning, delaying school openings by about an hour in Frederick Carroll and Washington counties. One four-vehicle crash on U S 40 left a tractor-trailer across the eastbound lane with no serious injuries. County crews salted and plowed, while power outages affected 464 customers in Walkersville.

Frederick City Planning Commission approved the final site plan for two buildings totaling seven units at the northeast corner of Carrollton Drive and Center Street. City police seek lone holdup suspect in Crown service robbery
