Fuchs Names 23 Reds in House Hearing
Prof Herbert Fuchs testified before the House Un-American Activities Committee naming 23 people who he said worked with him in Communist cells inside the War Labor Board and National Labor Relations Board. He claimed two cells operated in the Denver WLB office 1942 to 1945 and listed multiple coworkers and their spouses as party members. He said he quit the Communist party in 1946 and described ongoing cell activity after returning to the NLRB in Washington in 1945.
