Puerto Ricans Get Heifers From Westminster Seminary

West minster Maryland December report says young preachers from Westminster Theological Seminary organize shipments of calves to 20 Puerto Rican farm boys for Christmas. Calves depart Baltimore for San Juan after a dedication service, supervised by Rev. Ellis Plyler and aided by Heifer Project Inc. Since 1944 the charity has sent cattle, goats, chicks and other livestock to 37 countries, aiding small landowners and orphans alike.

Lawyer Pleads Guilty To Bilking Clients

In Baltimore on December 12 a real estate man from Catonsville pleaded guilty to stealing 545,455 from six clients. The plea surprised prosecutors who, unready with witnesses, delayed sentencing to early next week. He faces larceny after trust and has been jailed for inability to post bond since his arrest at his home on November 25.
