Two arrested in Montgomery for running down police officer
Two suspects were arrested in Montgomery after a car backed toward Officer Andrew Bartowak as he investigated a suspicious vehicle near Kemp Mill Elementary School. Bartowak, treated at Holy Cross Hospital for a severely bruised leg, fired several shots as the car sped away. Willis and Thomas later apprehended. Willis charged with assault and hit and run. Thomas charged as an accessory.
