New Willowcrest road opens linking Schaffer Drive and Shookstown Road

30 day grace for water bills in Frederick

Frederick residents in Section Three may get a one month delay on water and sewer bills for April through October due to a late switch to a new computer system. Thurmont rezoning allows Orchard Village Shopping Center

Thurmont officials approved a west side U S 15 rezoning to B 2 for a proposed 1 5 million Orchard Village Shopping Center serving Thurmont and nearby towns. The project includes a supermarket and retailers with water and sewer services planned, potential 20 acre commercial sale and 3 acres for homes, and could start next spring pending contracts with Arnold and Briggs Co Inc.
