Westminster Man Designs Six Cent POW Stamp
A six cent stamp issued November 24 commemorates prisoners of war and missing in action. Designed by T Sgt James C Seymour of Westminster, a Maxwell AFB analyst, the stamp honors POWs and MIAs in Southeast Asia and was chosen from 300 designs by the League of Families. The first day of issue sold on Seymour's base in Montgomery. Also noted Miss Maggie Walker will attend Operation Entertainment Night December 5 at Governor Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick to benefit local handicapped children.
