Pinkie puppet brings smiles to Frederick Memorial patients
The Frederick Memorial Hospital Women's Auxiliary Pinkie Committee has produced over 1,000 Pinkie head puppets annually since 1956. Stockings supply the material, with Frederick Tailoring and Sagner Inc aiding production. Pinkies are given to children ages two to twelve, at hospital admission, to ease separation anxiety, each in a gift box with a poem.
