Miss Sarah Jane Hamilton 22 of West Fifth street was treated for minor injuries after being struck by a car at North Court and West Church. Driver Henry J. Hubble 60 of Myersville was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian citing snow on his windshield. Hamilton works in the News-Post business office and was hospitalized briefly.

Quinn Dies Prominent Retired Farmer and Leader
Howard Upton Quinn prominent retired farmer and longtime Frederick Production Credit Association leader died at Frederick Memorial Hospital at 5 30 a.m. after a two week illness. He lived at View Light Farm near the city and was 78. He served on the association’s executive committee and board before becoming president last week. He held roles as Past Master of the Frederick County Pomona Grange and chaplain of the Maryland State Grange. Survived by wife Charlotte Summers Quinn three children Upton J P Quinn Mrs John T Stiles Silver Run and Mrs Eston H Hoffman plus a niece and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are under M. Ritchison and Son with services Friday at the funeral home and burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
