AF Reserve assigns Maj Cochran to Frederick CAP squadron

Major Paul R. Cochran of the 9285th Air Reserve Squadron Denver is named as Air Force Reserve Assistance Officer to the Frederick Civil Air Patrol unit. He will advise on unit administration and operations, teach cadets and seniors, and oversee CAP aircraft and supply activities as new Cessna 172 arrives. Information available at CAP headquarters Frederick airport on Thursday evenings.

Workship Elects Officers at Jeanne Bussard Workshop

Samuel W Barner named president of the Jeanne Bussard Training Workshop Board of Directors at the annual meeting. Bernard E Kelly is vice president Wilbert K Wiggs secretary and Jacob K Rameburg treasurer also elected. The board includes Joseph M Kline Col Nelson Jones Major Charles Main Isaac Stevens and others. Expansion plans are underway as the workshop grows beyond its 64 trainees on West South Street.
