Orchard Grove Elem delayed by worker burn injury
A construction accident at Orchard Grove Elementary injured Waldorf man William Bulka. He suffered second and third degree burns while changing an electrical panel breaker and was flown to Washington Hospital Center. The setback postponed Frederick County officials' plan to announce a Sept. 9 opening, with earlier forecasts noting potential use of Urbana High for a short period. Orchard Grove will serve 709 students from Hillcrest, Ballenger Creek and South Frederick feeders.
