U S Criticizes Britain Over Greece War Fallout
Dr Mulford Stough of Dickinson College told Rotary Club members in Carlisle that the United States bears responsibility for some Greece unrest. He blamed Churchill’s government and censorship, warned against Allied intervention, and argued the royalists collaborated with Germans while the security battalion was used to aid the Axis. He also touched on Palestine and India, urging UNO action to move Arabs to Iraq and leave Palestine to Jews. May 1947 airport traffic noted.
