A sedan skidded on College Avenue near West Patrick street around 12 30 a m striking a city light pole, two porches at the Rabstein veterinary hospital and stopping after damaging the pole and porches. William Bradley Fout of Linden Hills, a baker, escaped uninjured with a companion. The incident disrupted street lights and drew about 150 residents to the scene before the car was towed. Police charged Fout with reckless driving. Pauline Davis named as a witness.
