Husband gets six months for assault
Rob ert L. Simons a farmhand from near Urbana received six months in the House of Correction for an assault and data charge after his wife Thelma Virginia Simons testified he struck her in the eye broke her spectacles and tore buttons from her dress during a Tuesday night quarrel and threatened to cut her throat with a penknife. State troopers arrested him after he fled the scene.

Eleven Indictments Cleared Off Docket In Local Term

Flying Boat Wreck Leaves 35 Dead in Norway
