The World's Meanest Mother Joke Card
An anonymous reflection recalls a mother who enforced strict rules and chores. The narrator details strict supervision, curfews, and mandatory honesty, describing a childhood of cereals over cake and constant accountability. The piece ends noting the shift in adolescence as rules persisted.
Mean Mother Drives Domestic Comedy On Inflation Talk
A humorous reminiscence contrasts a strict mother with modern worries about inflation and pollution. The narrator recalls youth, family antics, and a lighthearted plan with her husband to curb waste, save money, and even afford a new dress by swapping disposable goods for reusable items. The piece ends with a wink at fashion and frugality.
