Myersville Man Dies In Wreck
A 24 year old Myersville area man was killed when the car he rode in left Md. 66 near Mt. Aena in Washington County. Charles V. Shank Jr. was identified by State Police in Hagerstown. the other occupants survived with minor injuries. The 1963 sedan driven by Carroll L. Kline ran off the road, hit an embankment and overturned. Shank was the son of Charles VY. and Helen L Jackson Shank. He served in the U.S. Army and spent 14 months in Korea. He was a member of the Jeffersonian Democratic Club in Frederick. He is survived by his parents, a sister, and two grandmothers. Friends may call at Glad Hill Funeral Home. Services will be at Harmony Church of the Brethren. burial in Harmony Cemetery.

Agnew In Seoul Announces Wider U S Military Aid For Korea
