MDA plans 22nd telethon in Frederick this Labor Day weekend
The Muscular Dystrophy Association volunteers prepare for the 22nd annual Jerry Lewis Telethon to be held at Francis Scott Key Mall and the Weinberg Center. Planned events include a Hair Cut-A-Thop by Outlanks for Heir, a fashion show at Leggett Department Store, and a mall carnival by the Frederick Jaycees with clowns and games. The pledge center and donation collection point will be the Weinberg Center on West Patrick Street, with Tall Cedars fundraisers and Spa Lady demonstrations also on Labor Day.
