Man Pleads Guilty in Frederick Bribery Case
Balachandra Menon former director of permits and codes management for the City of Frederick pleaded guilty in U S District Court to two counts of bribery and one count of extortion. He admitted accepting and extorting about thirty thousand dollars from contractors and developers over a 34 year period. He faces six state charges as well and awaits sentencing on federal charges November 4.
