Five year old Mary Schorr saved by passerby during fall

In Baltimore a five year old girl crawled onto a third floor window ledge at midnight and fell. John Siejack, who runs a tavern nearby, raced out and caught Mary as she dropped, preventing a three story plunge. He said he only did what anyone would have done.

Farm Bureau To Hold Heights Song Service

The Frederick County Farm Bureau will hold a song service at Brad dock Heights Sunday at 8 o clock with Willis E Derr presiding and Rev John S Bowius as speaker. Mrs Thomas P Culier will lead songs and Miss Margaret M Young will play piano, with instrumental music by Paul Derr Virginia Derr and Mrs Walter Hipkins. A vocal duet and readings by several local youths are planned, committee led by Willis E Derr.
