Middletown plans new street macadamizing project
Middletown officials seek a $2000 state allocation to macadamize a north south street known as the Commons, connecting to Myersville road and several alleys. Walkersville awaits word on its $2000 WPA town improvement grant while roads commission reviews plans. The August-September calendar notes the Evangelical Lutheran church twin spires pictured as practical symbols of progress.
