Six Children in One Family Struck by Polio in Los Angeles
Six of eight Demars children of Van Nuys are hospitalized in Los Angeles with polio, first struck a week ago and sixth admitted yesterday. Richard 3 and Donald on respirators are in critical condition. other affected are David 10 months Shirley 5 Patricia 12 and Aud rey 7. The National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis offers to cover full treatment costs. The family moved from Watertown South Dakota six months ago.
