United Brethren Church Marks Seventh Anniversary
The United Brethren Church in Christ celebrated its seventh anniversary with Rev. John W. Fisher of Washington as guest speaker. About 20 percent of members, including a Carroll County delegation, attended the song service at Breddock Heights, sponsored by the Frederick County Christian Endeavor Union with several singing groups. A freak thundershower cooled the heat, with strong winds and trees toppled after temperatures rose to 110 degrees.
