Officials testify at migrant camp hearing in Salisbury
Maryland officials acknowledge housing and overcrowding problems at migrant labor camps but report progress. The two day forum of the Maryland Advisory Committee to the US Civil Rights Commission focused on camp conditions and enforcement of regulations. Westover Labor Camp in Somerset County drew attention after the deaths of a 9 month old boy and a 57 year old man, though officials say other camps also need improvements.
