Three Escapees From Roxbury Reformatory Nabbed By State Police
Three men who escaped from the State Reformatory for Males at Roxbury were captured by State Police at Braddock Heights and turned over to reformatory authorities. Don ald Moore 18 of Baltimore Stuart Bafford 21 of Broome's Island Calvert county and Alton Ford 23 of Baltimore were identified. Troopers C D McLane and Melvin Snyder pursued a suspect behind a wall on Route 40 west of Braddock Mountain and apprehended all three without incident. Charges they were serving were not learned. In a separate accident a woman was slightly injured in a collision near East Church street and Middle alley. Dr Edgar Bittle of Myersville was eastbound and attempted a right turn into Middle alley but stopped for a car emerging from the alley. Austin Ri Luhn of Frederick Route 4 struck the rear of the little car, damaging its rear end and bumper. Luhn's mother was treated for a lacerated nose and bruised leg and released. No charges were pursued.
