New York Aug. 6 Albania's Soviet supported bid for United Nations leadership drew firm opposition from Greece which argued Albania could not meet the peace loving state requirement of the UN charter. The Security Council membership committee was to scrutinize the application at 10 30 a m edt amid reports Russia and Poland backed Albania while Britain and the United States voiced criticism of Hue's regime.
