City study seeks ban on left turns at Rosemont Shookstown

Frederick City Police propose eliminating left turns at the Rosemont Avenue and Shookstown Road intersection. A traffic island with a Do Not Enter sign would block left turns from Rosemont Avenue and from Shookstown Road, with enforcement to reduce congestion and avoid watchful delays. County closes loophole in landfill fees for small haulers

Frederick County commissioners move to end a loophole letting small commercial haulers avoid the $47 per ton landfill fee with loads under half a ton.
