Death of Man in Howard County Roadway Collision
John W. Deetz about 75 of Sykesville was killed near Lia pou when struck by a Baltimore car driven by Frank A. Davey. Davey swerved to avoid Deetz causing a wreck that injured five others and broke one arm. All victims were treated at St Agnes Hospital. No charges were filed as the accident was deemed unavoidable.
