Holy Name Parade Plans For Sunday In City
Final preparations for the Holy Name Society parade and convention in the city Sunday. Up to 20,000 expected with 10,000 marchers and 20 bands, trains and bus links organized from Baltimore Washington and Western Maryland, parade from North Market Street to the Fair Grounds with Benediction at the end. City police and militia to manage traffic and crowds as 10,000 sandwiches and coffee are prepared by parish volunteers.

Child Found After Farm Search In Rock Hill Area
Daisy Bell Hamilton, two, was located about a mile from the family farm near Rock Hill after a daylong countywide search. She had crawled through briars and was slightly injured, while two other Hamilton children had been playing nearby when the disappearance occurred near the Fingerboard road toward Urbana. Local residents, Sheriff Albaugh, and volunteers assisted in the hunt.
