Workshops set to help women change jobs
The Frederick County Commission for Women sponsors eight workshops over the next year to help women improve education and employment prospects. Topics include personal growth education training and career skills with sessions such as finding the courage to act and speaking up for yourself. The first session May 1 at Daybreak Adult Daycare Center Frederick includes psychologists Alice A Adams and Barbara Lohman-Flynn. The second session June 5 features Dr Wanda L Ruffin Hood College. Workshops are free, day care is provided, and advance registration is requested by calling 694-1063.

Teleconference on MS trials set for May nationwide
A nationwide teleconference on multiple sclerosis clinical trials is scheduled for 10 am to noon on Saturday May 1 at Carroll County General Hospital Westminster or Comfort Inn Frostburg.
