Civic Center Proposal Discussed by Frederick Officials
Developer Harry Rosenfeld offered to donate one acre of land free of mortgages for a Frederick Civic Center and to build facilities at cost with no profit. The proposal was discussed by a city council committee at the Francis Scott Key Hotel with site near Seventh Street between the shopping center and the freeway under consideration. A Monday meeting was set to review details and financing, with Rosenfeld stating the offer is contingent on site and plan decisions.
