R P Gill signs the bank’s 1920 balance sheet for the bank in Yamhill County Oregon. The report lists government securities deposits bonds and other assets and liabilities including total deposits capital stock surplus profits and notes due to the U S Treasury with figures for each item and a notary public attestation dated November 22 1920.
The December Sunnget prints the arts of a new Letters of a Japanese School boy by Wallace Irwin. The piece discusses Christmas and the idea of generous giving with humorous misinterpretations. Characters debate gifts and motives as a motto toward peace on Earth emerges.
Notice to legal voters of school district 29 Yambill county Oregon of a November 27 1920 meeting at 2 PM to vote on a special district tax. Budget totals show expenditures 51495 50 with receipts from county and state funds and other sources summing 15937 34 leaving 35558 16 to be raised by district tax. The Louisville Courier Journal quotes a humorous exchange among partners and staff about a stenographer. Mrs Senior Partner and Mrs Junior Partner deny hiring her while the office boy is blamed for musical comedy tastes.
