At a recent Prohibition League meeting new members were admitted and a committee set to draft a more constitutionally aligned charter. Meade Elliott won the local oratorical contest with the speech Our Nation and the Law, earning a shot at the state contest in March. Second place went to Walter Wilson with The Modern Goliath.
