Murder confession follows Virginia arrest of suspect
Peter Shelley sought in Virginia for murder, found at W S Evans place with Deputy Henderson and Marshal Flynn. He admitted identity, claimed self defense after a Christmas Eve killing sparked by 75 cent debt over moving goods across the state line to Tennessee. He said he killed a lifelong friend in a drunken dispute. the two men demanded payment and a knife ended the confrontation. The suspect, about 55, described as non vicious in appearance, accompanied by a 22 year old son, was taken with a revolver in possession.

The Star of Bethlehem will be shown at the Gem Theatre on February 19 and 20, with afternoon and evening showings. The three reel film by THanhauser Film Corporation cost over seven thousand feet were shot and three thousand feet chosen by ministers and biblical historians.
