The president calls for national neutrality amid European war, urging Americans to speak and act with impartiality. On Tuesday at the city park the Nebraska-Kansas people held on with a noon meal and an afternoon program. Rev. Cc L Hamilton of Portland, John T Bell editor of the Enter prise, and W W Lundger of La Payette spoke. Frances Wolcott and H R Stevens sold items, Grace Miller of Portland gave a reading, and a piano duet by Mabel Miller and Blanche McNay. They sang Old Sod Shanty on the Claim and several five minute speeches were made. Next year officers are Pres Frank Deach Vice Pres W W Lundger Secretary Mrs Minnie Cooper.
