City Honors Memory of Dr. Harry Littlefield
Newberg mourns the death of Dr. Harry Littlefield who died in Tucson on April 15 after a wartime service and long local practice. The funeral in Newberg featured an American Legion guard, Masons, a color guard, and a Vancouver barracks caisson with Taps and a Legion firing squad. Dr. Littlefield, born April 11, 1876 in Lafayette Oregon, served in the Spanish American War and World War I, practiced with Romig and Barcroft, and was a prominent civic figure in Newberg.

The Yamhill County Pomona Grange endorsed the Oregon Wool and Mohair Growers' association as presented by R A Ward. A committee was named to aid local interests and several growers signed contracts for neighbors. They plan to ship carload wool to the association and pressed federal farm loan relief, county financial accounting reforms, and state Grange meeting in McMinnville in 1922.
