Thousands killed or wounded as insurgents hold parts of Moscow while rebels cut communications. Soldiers isolate sections, rockets and searchlights mark the fight along the Sadovia. Hours of heavy cannon fire continue as insurgents defend a central square.
The State Department advised the German Ambassador that no progress on a modus vivendi with Germany can occur until after the holidays. A Pachuca dispatch reports the Santa Gertrudis Mine catching fire and thirty miners suffocated. The blaze may cause damage to reach hundreds of thousands of dollars and no further details have been received.
