Renville Citizen John Garrity Dies at 75
The death of John Garrity occurred at his Morton home last week after a brief illness. A longtime Renville County resident since 1887, he served twelve years as probate judge and was known to many in Brown County. Garrity, linked to Loretta hospital, had crippled hands and feet from freezing injuries in 1878 while living in Wisconsin.
