Lamberton mob seizes town square in abuse of Dr Zindel
A mob of about 30 to 50 in Lamberton forced Dr Albert Zindel a prominent local vet from his home to the public square and forced him to salute the flag amid accusations he insulted it. The crowd also harassed Anton Manderfelds wife and tore down a child made flag, replacing it with the Stars and Stripes. Mayor Kluegel struck Zindel and was taunted back, after which county attorney Emercon and Rep A J Fraxel intervened. The incident ended with Zindel driven from home and forced back to the square, his wife left near prostration, as questions for the courts loom.

Six year old Einar Midthrudget, son of Ole and Mrs. Midthrudget, was hit by Emil Brandenburg of Waldorf while crossing Minnesota Street near First North. He suffered a slight brain concussion and received medical care. he is recovering rapidly. The incident occurred shortly before six o'clock last Thursday afternoon as he crossed to drink from a fountain.

Heartless Murder at Redwood Falls
Charles E. Lamberton a Red wood Falls transfer man and garage owner was shot and killed Sunday afternoon. William Rosendahl a former blacksmith and former Lamberton employee is under arrest for the murder. The men had severed a years long friendship over differences in business and since Rosendahl entered the automobile trade. He was captured after attempting to flee at the hotel. Lamberton leaves a wife and six children and a brother in St Peter. Funeral was held in Redwood Falls yesterday. Rosendahl is married with no children.
