Many Will Pay Homage Buried in City Cemetery

Mrs Helena Seiter, long time Dakota house host and New Ulm pioneer, died at her daughter’s home after a week of illness from gall stones. Funeral set for tomorrow with Capt Albert Steinhauser in charge. Survived by ten children and brothers, many relatives coming to pay tribute including Gov Johnson.

Dedication of Sons of Hermann Flag At Monument Park

Immense crowd attends Sunday ceremony as Washington Lodge No. 1 dedicates a new banner at the Sons of Hermann monument in Mankato. Gen. Bobleter, John Kunz, and Julius Berndt preside, with performances by New Ulm Maennerchor and Mankato Band. State funds support park operations and festivities.

Winthrop Heads Next Convention After Strong Conference

The Western Conference of Congregational arches met in Winthrop with about thirty delegates and visitors. Rev. Percy E. Thomas of Winona delivered a highly praised sermon. The conference elected Rev. Francis Wrigley of Garvin as moderator and voted to hold the next meeting in Winthrop. G. A. Ottomeyer drew praise for his Foreign Missions paper.
