Commissioner OBrien to Quit Insurance Department

The state insurance commissioner Thomas D. OBrien is expected to resign at the close of the current legislative session. He had considered resigning last year but stayed on at Gov Johnsons urging. Milk Dealers Scored By State Inspector In New Ulm

J C Joslin dairy and food department inspector tested city milk and cream. Scores ranged from 3.0 to 4.6 with several firms above 3 percent fat. He reported barns dirty and cows inadequately kept, warning that selling milk from unsanitary cows is a misdemeanor and promising fines on a follow up visit.

Investigation of Shippers' Association Overseen by Five
