Gardners Man Dies Picking Cherries From Ladder
Thomas J Zeigler 64 of Gardners died from a stroke while picking cherries near Harry Snyder’s farm. He was found at the ladder foot by William Snyder and Dr B C Jones who concluded the stroke caused his fall. Survived by widow Anna Murray and son T Rhey Zeigler with several sisters.

Boy Four Struck by Auto Receives Brush Burns
Paul D. Little Jr., four, of Gettysburg Route 1, escaped with brush burns on head and legs when hit by a car along Hanover Road near his home Thursday evening. He was taken to Warner Hospital for examination and treatment.

Driver in Highway Mishap Injures Boy
Harris R. Pinkerton, 32, of Philadelphia, drove the eastbound car that struck the boy who darted across the highway. A passing motorist, L. C. Sellman of Hagerstown, took the boy to the hospital. No police investigation was made.
