Two Hull brothers Held For Chicken Theft
Fern E. Hull and Harman L. Hull were arrested by Officer Joseph F. Bushey and Detective Jesse Crabbs in connection with stealing 25 to 30 chickens from Emory Sauble farm in Mt Pleasant township around December 30, 1937. Fern is jailed on $1000 bail and Harman faces questioning with a $1000 bond set. charges stem from larceny information filed by Justice of the Peace John C. Shearer. The theft tied to other chicken thefts in Adams County as police pursue further arrests.
