Miss Nancy Jane Klank and Joseph J. Miller were married in a nuptial mass at the Church of the Annunciation in McSherrystown. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Anthony J. McGinley with maid of honor Miss Stella M. Klunk and bridesmaid Miss Theresa Miller.
Oxford Township supervisors invite sealed bids for 12 000 gallons of tar base bituminous material meeting DH2 DH3 or F 3 specs and delivered in 1000 gallon lots. The bride is a Delone Catholic High School graduate and worked at Middlebury Manufacturing. the groom graduated from New Oxford High School, served three years in the Army Air Force, and works for Emeco in Hanover. The reception was at the groom’s grandparents’ home, and both are grandchildren of M. K. Wagner years ago.
Miss Evelyn Bankert and Lester G. Leppo wed in a double ring nuptial mass at the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary church in McSherrystown on May 29. Rev. Anthony J. McGinley officiated. A reception for about 75 guests followed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Smith in McSherrystown.
Miss Anna Mae Swope and Calvin Joseph Wagner were married Saturday morning at 8 o'clock in St Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The couple are listed with Aspers Route 1 and Gettysburg Route 3 addresses respectively.
Miss Ruth Jane Conrad daughter of Mr and Mrs Paul G Conrad of McSherrystown married Francis G Yealy son of Mr and Mrs Leo F Yealy of Hanover in a nuptial mass at the Church of the Annunciation in McSherrystown. Rev Cyril J Allwein presided with maid of honor Barbara Lawrence of Hanover and bridesmaids Marion Willet and Doris Small of McSherrystown. Best man was Martyn Weaver of Hanover.
The wedding featured ushers Marold Conrad and Philip Sterner from Hanover. The Ave Maria was sung by Mrs. Robert Meckley, sister of the bridegroom. The couple will live at 413 Baltimore Street in Hanover. Both graduates of Delane Catholic High School, the bridegroom works for Cremer Florist. A reception for relatives and friends followed at the bridegroom’s parents’ home.
Miss Betty Jane Zinneman daughter of Mr and Mrs Carl E Zinneman Hanover married Leon Joseph Noel son of Mrs Anna Noel McSherrystown Friday evening in the rectory of St. church venue and date not fully shown. local families named.
The Rev Joseph G Gotwalt officiated a double ring ceremony at Vincent's Catholic Church Hanover with bride and groom attended by Mrs Wilford Geisler and Preston Noel, siblings of the bridegroom. Ronald Geisler acted as ring bearer. The couple plans a new apartment at 505 Third Street Midway. Delores Carfagno wed Ruth Small in St Vincent's College ceremony in Hanover.
The bride and groom exchanged vows in Latrobe with Rev Father Edwin officiating. They plan to live in a newly furnished apartment in Latrobe while the groom resumes studies at St Vincent's college. The bride is a Delone Catholic High School graduate and the groom from Central Catholic High School.
