Thieves broke into the Bird-in-Hand Pennsylvania railroad freight and passenger station Monday night but left with only forty nine cents from the ticket office drawer. Nathaniel Murr age 56 of 4223 Viola street Philadelphia attempted death by self harm on Tuesday afternoon by swallowing carbolic acid. Despondent for weeks he threatened to end his life.
